We’ve got a special vid for you today – with hotel legend Chip Conley.

Founder and former CEO of Joie de Vivre (JDV), Chip has led the development, creation, and management of more boutique hotels than anyone else in the world. Starting JDV at age 26, his mission was to “create joy” by building a company that USA Today called “the most delightfully schizophrenic collection of hotels in America.”

During his 24 years as CEO, JDV grew to become the second largest boutique hotel company in America. That’s a pretty impressive resume.

But Chip’s also an armchair philosopher and in this video he’s going to shed some light on important models of how you see YOUR business.

Here’s the video of Chip, speaking at Awesomeness Fest 2010 where he explains the positive psychology of business and how the Pyramid of Perception of “Job”, “Career” or “Calling” affects how motivated you are to work each day.
