Customers and users are no longer about being fed a firmly fixed idea or creation. Since the term “The Experience Economy” came about, businesses are expected to incorporate memorable events in a customer’s experience when using their product.
People have a need to be the co-creators (whether directly or indirectly) of the products they use to add more value and meaning in their experience.
