I’m selling 3 guides on this page for fun (its been my gateway into affiliate marketing) – since I already had the free traffic from the gamesite itself it was free marketing. I know this site in its own needs work – I’ve somewhat left it behind to use newer knowledge for new website ideas. I have some of my own ideas for this page alone which I was planning to put in use soon and was curious to see what you guys might come up with.
Current stats:
The page gets about 20 hits a day and makes a sale about 1 every 4 days. To increase this I have content to add to this game section of the site but as I mentioned before – other projects and clients are taking up my time =)
I was also going to start using adwords (had tried that a few weeks ago and noticed slight improvements. I put it on hold for a bit and am planning to relaunch that as soon as google allows everyone use of their new site tracking feature – the one where you know what pages the ads are on.
I realize the current adsense ads in the content may be a conflict of interest but I’ve actually been using them to see how effective my content is for now (the theory being if people are clicking on the ads more I should probably rethink my content.)
