I’ve spent some significant time this last week studying material on SEO from StomperNet and Jeff Johnson. Brilliant guys, with very different styles. Now, let me share with you some quick thoughts about my experience going through what both of them offered.
StomperNet SEO Course
When I first subscribed to StomperNet’s newsletter (after they were promoted to me by another internet marketer), I immediately started noticing how unique they were but eventually began getting rather ANNOYED.
Okay, so I’ll elaborate.
StomperNet’s presentation is pretty sweet looking and highly polished. I don’t know about you, but their videos are the best I’ve seen in the internet marketing field, which is a nice thing, but along with the huge hype they push continuously to their email list regularly, I began doubting them.
At the time I still hadn’t tried their full, paid material yet, but I was only getting their promotional stuff. I was thinking to myself “man, these guys are annoyingly bombarding me with offers which just seem like hype, hype, and more polished hype.”
They promised a lot, and I had high expectations but big doubts in whether they were going to deliver or not.
Now that I’ve gone through the full material, I’ve got to say it was awesome. It inspires a new perspective of looking at things and fills information gaps. Best of all, the instructions were so effectively laid out, my own grandmother could execute them. It’s pretty good spoonfeeding.
Jeff Johnson’s 25K Seminar
First things first, Jeff Johnson is an excellent speaker and a highly knowledgeable guy.
The material he presented is different from StomperNet’s in the sense that it’s not as generalist but instead very specific. He also comes across as highly technical, and when he starts rolling, it’s an avalanche of cool revelations.
What’s also great, is that the attendees were invitation only experts so the quality of discussions that you watch and hear are superb. Expect nothing polished or flashy in terms of presentation though.
StomperNet Vs Jeff Johnson
For someone still starting out in the SEO game, StomperNet’s material is the obvious choice. You just can’t go wrong with how clearly they deliver their knowledge. On the other hand, Jeff Johnson’s teachings are targeted at people already familiar with SEO’s technicalities, so I wouldn’t pass his material to my grandmother, because she might end up with a headache.
Nevertheless, if you really want to boost your understanding significantly and go down the rabbit hole, I wouldn’t recommend one over the other. Both strongly compliment each other, and both are brilliant, so look out for what these guys have coming out next.
In the coming weeks, I’ll start sharing some of our successfully implemented SEO tactics with you.
